as the nation celebrates its Golden Jubilee, Banks DIH has many plans in store.
Banks DIH Chairman, Clifford Reis has assured that Banks DIH has a lot in store for Guyana’s Golden Jubilee. Already in train as part of the company’s financial support is the soon to be announced decision taken to sponsor several Republic/Mashramani anniversary activities, such as the Children’s road parade as well as the national seniors Calypso competition.
“You know the arch which is at Ruimveldt? Banks will rebuild it,” he told reporters in an invited comment.
There are other plans but Reis said, “Secondly we are going to have a big free concert. We had one when Guyana hosted Carifesta and we will be doing another for Independence.”
While Reis did not say who the concert will feature Kaieteur News understands that the artiste being touted as the feature act is likely to be soca sensation Machel Montano, even as another corporate giant is contemplating the possibility of bringing R&B singer Usher for a mega concert.
