Gouveia Jr. re-elected PSC Chairman
(Kaieteur News) – Captain Gerry Gouveia Jr. and Kathy Smith, on Friday, were re-elected to their posts as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson respectively of the Private Sector Commission’s (PSC) 34th Annual General Meeting.
The 2026-2027 Executive Committee of the PSC
In a statement on Friday, the PSC said it, “successfully convened its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), during which members elected the organisation’s leadership team for the 2026–2027 term and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing private sector development, economic growth, and national prosperity.”
The newly elected Executive Committee are Capt. Gerald Gouveia Jr. – Chairperson, Ms. Kathy Smith – Vice Chairperson, Mr. Imran Saccoor – Treasurer, Ms. Josephine Tapp – Honorary Secretary and Mr. Manniram Prashad – Corporate Coordinator.
The PSC thanked its members and stakeholders for their support and participation in the Annual General Meeting and reaffirmed its commitment to a competitive business environment, sustainable economic growth, and being a strong voice for Guyana’s private sector.
