– Final under lights & winner to cash in on $100,000 and trophy prize

proprietor of 4R Bearings Mr. Ricky Deonarain confirmed his sponsorship for what is expected to be the biggest 20/20 competition to be played in the Upper Corentyne with some 25 teams from No. 43 Village to Crabwood Creek expected to participate.
The competition will be played in four zones with the top two teams in each zone advancing to the knockout stages. The preliminary rounds will be played on a round robin basis, home and away. In this situation teams will have to play two matches on the same day allowing the host to organize a little fundraiser for their club.
The final will be played under lights at the Crabwood Creek Sports Complex with the winner receiving $100,000 and a trophy. This competition is expected to start in June and is being organized by the Upper Corentyne Cricket Association.
