GUMDAC Annual Open Doubles Badminton Tourney concludes
The GUMDAC Annual Open Doubles tournament concluded with the presentation of prizes which was held at the Queen’s College Badminton Courts on Monday last. The tournament was played between
The respective top finishers in the GUMDAC sponsored Badminton tournament display their prizes after the presentation along with officials.
February 9 and 11.
The presentation was done by GUMDAC boss Mr. Darrell Carpenay who has been sponsoring the tournament for the third consecutive year. Narayan Ramdhani and Nicholas Ali won the Open Men Doubles for the third year in a row. Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani won the Open Mixed Doubles title.
The full results of the final placings:
Mixed Doubles: 1st place: Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani, 2nd place: Nicholas Ali and Siya Persaud, 3rd place: Jonathan Mangra and Abosaide Cadogan.
Men’s Doubles: 1st place: Narayan Ramdhani and Nicholas Ali, 2nd place: Jonathan Mangra and Avinash Odit, 3rd place: Deodat Etwaroo and Raymond Khalil, 3rd place: Gokarn Ramdhani aand George Melville.
