benefit from the confidence of corporate Guyana as they seek to run off 200 programmes and activities to coincide with this milestone.
The latest entities to show tangible support are the New Amsterdam branch of Modern Optical Service and Caribbean Container Inc. of Farm, East Bank, Demerara. Both companies made substantial financial donations.
Accepting on behalf of the club, Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster said that they intended to make the anniversary not only memorable but one which makes a positive difference in the lives of youths, the elderly and less fortunate.
The contribution of the two companies would be used to provide less fortunate youths in Berbice with educational and sports materials in an effort to get them to stay in school and obtain an educational background.
These kids would also be encouraged to fulfill their full potential in sports as an alternative to a life on the streets. The energetic Foster expressed gratitude to Dr. Jose DaSilva of Modern Optical Service and Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Container Inc. Ms. Patricia Bacchus for their confidence

in the RHTY&SC while reassuring them that they {club} would continue to fulfill its mandate in the future.
Dr. DaSilva congratulated the club on its outstanding work over the last 25 years and noted that he was proud to be a supporter over the past decade. Ms. Bacchus, a Berbician by birth stated that CCI was proud to be associated with the club for the first time and expressed the hope that the relationship would develop in the future.
CCI, she noted was committed to fulfilling its corporate responsibilities in the areas of youth and sports development.
