In Friday’s edition we reported on a visit to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, by several members of the Guyana Football Federation’s Normalization Committee. The article, ‘GFF Normalization Committee discusses important issues with Minister Anthony,’ highlighted the reason for the visit as well as the names of the members of the NC that were present. However, we inadvertently stated that one of the members of the NC, Rabindranauth Chandrapaul, was conspicuously absent.
In fact, Mr. Chandrapaul was very much in attendance. We were further informed that Dr. Karen Pilgrim was not at the forum but had asked to be excused. Kaieteur Sport deeply regrets the error and wish to convey heartfelt apologies to Mr. Chandrapaul and any other of the principals that were affected by the error.
