More questions about Robert Gates
Dear Editor,
I have been following the news on the proceedings at the Commission of Inquiry into the death of Walter Rodney.
My attention was further jolted when a Retired Prison Officer wrote about Mr. Robert Gates, a prisoner, being given preferential treatment.
I have a few questions:
Who is Robert Gates? What position did he hold before his prison life? Is this the same Robert Gates whose daughter has been charged for fraud? Is it true that one of the Counsels on the Commission is also the legal Counsel for Mr. Gates’ daughter?
Based on the above – it may be prudent to deduce that Mr. Gates’ evidence could be somewhat fabricated to suit the wiles of his masters.
Something stinks here and should be investigated.
