Tenders submitted for Amaila Road crossing
The Ministry of the Public Works received two bids for the Amaila Falls Access Road, Butukari River Crossing. The bids were opened yesterday by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Ministry of Finance, Main Street.

Meanwhile, the Transport and Harbours Department (TH&D) received two bids for the docking and rehabilitation of the M.V Makouria.
In July last, the T&HD received a solitary bid of $200.5M by GNIC for the docking and repairs of the vessel.
The M.V Makouria has a capacity to hold 1200 persons, 30 cars and 15 trucks. It will later this year complete 50 years of service since it was commissioned.
