Kaieteur News receives Lion’s Club award
Kaieteur News was recognized by the New Amsterdam Lion’s Club on Saturday evening at the club’s 52nd Installation and handing-over ceremony which was held at the Lion’s Den in Vrymen’s Erven.
The reporter, Leon Suseran,”for his professional reporting in the print media” received a Certificate of Appreciation and was recognized as the Outstanding Media Person for the Year 2012- 2013.

Dave’s Television Channel 8- (DTV-8) received the television station award for Outstanding Media Coverage of the Club’s events over the past year.
The award is something new to the Club’s Installation and Handing- over ceremony, which saw the formation of a new Board of Directors.
