West R/veldt woman facing electricity theft accusation
Donette Audler appeared yesterday before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell at the Georgetown Magistrate’s court where she pleaded not guilty to a charge of fraudulently and maliciously diverting electricity, property of Guyana Power and Light Inc., to her home at 56 West Front Road Squatting Area.
The charge stated that the defendant was seen committing the act on March 1 and was subsequently reported to the police. She was then arrested and cautioned on the offence committed.
The case was adjourned until March 25.
