Round 1 of GMR&SC Drag Meet set for May 20
The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) will be hosting Round 1 of the Endurance Meet on Sunday, May 20, at the South Dakota Circuit, starting from 13:00hrs.
According to a release from the club, there will be six categories that will be competed in and they are: Group A-0-1500 cc; Group B-1501-1600 cc; Group C-1601 -2000 cc; Group D-2001-2250 cc; Group E- 2 Wheel – Unlimited and Group F- 4 Wheel – Unlimited.
It is expected that cars from Suriname will be coming to throw down the gauntlet to their Guyanese counterparts as the battle for supremacy among the two nations continue.
Admission is free and fans are being urged to get down to the circuit to enjoy a day of speed.
