Beach Football 2012 season set for launch today

The Guyana Beach Football Association will be launching its 2012 Banks DIH Beach Cup League today at the Christianburg Ground, Linden commencing at17:00 hrs.  There will be a March Past of the eight participating teams. Taking the salute will be Branch Manager of Banks DIH, Ms Shondell Easton along with President of the Upper Demerara Football Association, Dr Joseph Haynes and Vice President of UDFA, Mr Sharma Solomon.
Following the March Past of Teams there will be 4 games with: Cool Runnings vs Eagles United, Wisrock vs Vasco, Top 25 vs Silver Shattas and Blue Berry Hill vs Development Team.
The Development Team comprises of the players who participated in the Beach Soccer Tournament held in Trinidad & Tobago last year.
Games will be played on Sundays and Thursdays commencing at 17:00hrs daily, while matches will be played under lights.
