Guyana’s regional distance campaigner, Trinidad and Tobago-based Lionel D’Andrade stormed to an emphatic win in the Hurricane 10km Road Race Sunday in Antigua.
From reports reaching Kaieteur Sport, D’Andrade won the race in 35:11.00 almost three minutes ahead of second place finished, George Hycolette (38:02.00) while Jonathan Rohr (40:29) came in third in the race. Before departing for Antigua on Saturday last, D’Andrade had won the Rodney 5km Road Race in Trinidad for the third consecutive year.
