Rosignol United’s Olvis Mitchell copped the Most Valuable Player award when the Berbice Football Association in collaboration with Banks DIH Limited hosted the Coca Cola Senior knock-out presentation at the Winners Circle Night Spot & Pool Hall located at #22 Bel Air, West Coast Berbice.
Mitchell’s teammate Roncy Caleb was named the best Goalkeeper of the competition as Rosignol was presented with the championship trophy and a cheque for $300,000. Monedderlust walked away with the 2nd place trophy and $150,000 while Cougars received their 3rd place prize of a trophy and $100,000; New Amsterdam United collected $50,000 and trophy for placing 4th.
Winston Benjamin of Cougars ended as the highest goal scorer of the competition and was rewarded for his 9 goals with a pair of boots and a trophy.
All eight clubs who participated in the tournament were present at the ceremony and were each presented with a world cup replica football.

Torrezao also complimented the teams for the discipline and dedication in making the tournament a success.
The fans were also complimented by Torrezao for their support.
Senior Cougars member and former national player Phillip Carrington speaking on behalf of the clubs in his vote of thanks, joined the President and Secretary of the BFA in offering thanks to Banks DIH and its brand Coca Cola for being on board with the necessary sponsorship that ensured the tournament’s success.
