Goodluck & Persaud intensifies training ahead of Bisley

Commence recorded shoots at Timehri Ranges today

Following their history making performance at the West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championships at the Paragon Ranges in Barbados where Guyana won both the Long and Short Range titles and Ransford Goodluck took the Individual Championship, the Guyanese pair of Captain Mahendra Persaud and Goodluck will now focus on preparation for the National Rifle Association of United Kingdom, Bisley competitions.
Speaking with Kaieteur Sport, Persaud said they will be doing recorded shoots each Sunday until they wing out for Bisley early in July.
Today, the pair will be shooting at 300, 500 and 600 yard ranges. A number of other Guyanese shooters including some based in the USA are expected to travel to Bisley, the names to be confirmed shortly.
To date, a total of 1177 persons from around the world including the host country have confirmed their participation for Bisley.
