Soares is most outstanding performer at GTA’s Dando Cup 2008

Ryan Soares was adjudged the Most Outstanding Athlete when the Guyana Taekwondo Association (GTA) held its Dando Cup 2008 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall last Sunday, while Orlando Van-Rossum took the overall Silver, while Hewley Clarke and Marcello Ferreira shared the Bronze in the championships.
The students of the GTA presented the President – Master Ramjeet Ramphal and Secretary – Master Roy Bacchus with plaques in recognition and appreciation of their dedicated service and hard work in promoting Taekwondo in Guyana.
They also presented a plaque to the sponsor of the fourth Dando Cup, Master Basir ‘Danny’ Rajjab. Eighteen competitors competed in 14 different divisions.
