Sahadeo’s 10 overs Softball cricket in Wakenaam
Belle Plaine defeated Knight Riders by 40 runs in the final of the Toolsie Sahadeo’s General Store 10 overs softball cricket competition last Saturday at Belle Plaine in Wakenaam.
Belle Plaine won the toss and batted first, piled up 161 for 3 off their allotted 10 overs. Toolsie Sahadeo top scored with 88 and Chandreka Ragnauth contributed 21.
Knight Riders in reply made 121 for 4 in their 10 overs. Somnauth Prashad scored 36 and Parmeshwar Dindyal 28.
Belle Plaine collected the winning trophy while Sahadeo took the man-of-the-match award. (Zaheer Mohamed)
