East Wakenaam emerge champions
East Wakenaam with 81 games emerged champions of the Wakenaam Leg of the GTM dominoes competition played last Sunday at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground at Good Success. Underdog came second with 80 games while Sea Shore finished third with 65 games.
Ronald Frazer marked 14 games for the winners while Krisendat Hansraj chalked 17 games for the runner up team. Dharendra Kumar of Sea Shore was the lone love bird.
East Wakenaam collected 1 – ram sheep, while runner’s up Underdog took home $10,000.
Both teams have qualify for the play offs which will be played on the Essequibo Coast on November 22. The other teams that took part in the competition were All Star and Carlosh. (Zaheer Mohamed)
