20/20 wave to submerge Splashmin’s
The Winston Chattergoon and Splashmin’s Fun Park 20/20 competition is set to bowl off on Saturday at the Splashmin’s ground.
The tournament comprises eight teams and is divided into two groups: ‘A’ and ‘B with the preliminary round on Saturday and Sunday and the semi–finals is slated for the following Saturday.
The final will be played under floodlights where the winner will get $10,000 and a trophy with the second place team pocketing $5,000 and trophy. The best batsman, bowler and all–rounder will all receive trophies.
Participating teams include Diamond, Herstelling, Ruimveldt, Bee Hive, Strathaven, North Soesdyke, Sandpipers and Uprising. Kojac Marketing Agency is one of the major sponsors of the event.
