Kaieteur Sports – Guyana celebrated a historic success on the regional bodybuilding stage as fourteen-year-old Camille Academy students Xavier Cespedes and Suraj Jhaman delivered gold and silver medal performances respectively in the Youth Division of the 2026 Roger Boyce World Cup Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship in Barbados.
The talented teenagers etched their names into the history books by securing Guyana’s first-ever medals in the prestigious Youth category of the championship, continuing the country’s growing reputation in Caribbean bodybuilding.

That winning moment! Camille’s Academy student, Xavier Cespedes commands the stage after winning Gold in the Youth Division of the 2026 Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados.
Cespedes, an active student of Camille Academy’s Lusignan Campus, ignited celebrations after producing a commanding routine to capture the coveted gold medal in the Under-15 division. Moments later, teammate Suraj Jhaman of the Soesdyke Campus showcased impressive poise and muscular definition to clinch the silver medal, completing a sensational one-two finish for Guyana.
