(Kaieteur News) – Jadon and Tiana DeCourte, the Melanie, East Coast Demerara (ECD) siblings who were fished out of a trench behind the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) Bachelor Adventure’s pump station died of drowning.
Post-mortem examinations conducted on the bodies of the two children confirmed that both died as a result of drowning.
The examinations were conducted on Friday, March 6, at the Memorial Gardens Mortuary by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.
The bodies were subsequently handed over to relatives for funeral arrangements as investigations continue.
