Bids opened for rehabilitation of Amelia’s Ward water treatment plant
(Kaieteur News) – The Guyana Water Inc. is rehabilitating the water treatment plant at Amelia’s Ward, Linden, Region 10.
According to bids opened on Tuesday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), the project is estimated at $54 million. Some 13 contractors submitted bids below the government’s engineer’s estimate.
This publication understands that GWI has been rehabilitating several treatment plants aimed at improving service and water supply for communities.
