(Kaieteur News) – A 32-year-old motorcyclist is critical at the Enmore Regional Hospital following an accident along the Ann’s Grove Public Road, East Coast Demerara.
The injured man has been identified as Kendel Lewis of Ann’s Grove Village.
The accident reportedly occurred approximately around 8:00pm and involved his motorcycle and a motorcar.
Kaieteur News understands from witnesses that Lewis was riding along the eastern side of the road and was in the process of turning when a car travelling along the western side collided with him.
The impact caused Lewis to be flung from the motorcycle, landing on the roadway.
Reports are that Lewis sustained multiple head injuries and a broken leg.
