Ganga found in abandoned yard at School Street, Mahdia

(Kaieteur News) – On Thursday over two pounds of marijuana were discovered at School Street, Mahdia in Region Eight, during a police operation, which occurred between 23:00 hours and 23:50 hours.
“During the operation, detectives carried out a sweep in the vicinity of School Street, Mahdia, Region #8, in an abandoned yard and found a bulky black plastic bag containing nine transparent plastic bags of seeds, leaves, and stems suspected to be cannabis,” police said.
The narcotic was taken to the Mahdia Police Station by detectives, where it was weighed and amounted to 945 grams. It was then marked, sealed, and lodged.
