(Kaieteur Sports) – Even as teams have reached the semifinal stage of the ongoing Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) two days first division cricket competition, the BCB has decided to continue with the playing off of some preliminary round matches.
The BCB in release stated that the competition will resume shortly with two games: Rose Hall Community Centre playing West Berbice at the Rose Hall Community Centre, East Canje and Port Mourant Community Centre verses Police CC at the Port Mourant Community Centre.
It also stated that the two Semifinals will be played on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November.
The matches will see Group ‘A’ winners Young Warriors CC playing Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) at the Young Warriors Ground. The other game will involve Group B winner Albion Community Centre against Group ‘A’ runner-up Tucber Park CC at the Albion Community Centre Ground.
Meanwhile, the Lalsa Second Division 40 overs cricket competition will continue with a number of matches across Berbice. (Samuel Whyte)
