Kaieteur News – A 40-year-old construction worker was early Monday morning stabbed to death at Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
Dead is Gladwin Daniels of Lot 31 Goed Fortuin, WBD.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 00:30h.
“Investigations so far revealed that the victim was consuming alcohol at a birthday party at Goed Fortuin squatting area when two suspects called out to him on the road, and after he went to meet them, an argument ensued, and he was stabbed in the neck by one of the suspects.”
Daniels collapsed and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The two suspects were arrested and taken to La Grange Police Station, where they are assisting with the investigation.
