Kaieteur News – Guyana proudly etched its name in history at the prestigious Miss, Mrs. & Teen India Worldwide 2025 pageant, bringing home an impressive collection of titles, including Mrs. India Worldwide 2nd Runner-Up and the coveted Best National Director Award.

Among the shining stars was Mrs. India Guyana 2025, Malini Persaud, one of Guyana’s premier makeup artists who created history by becoming the first Guyanese to secure a Top 3 spot at Mrs. India Worldwide, emerging as 2nd Runner-Up.

Hosted at the elegant Lalit Hotel in Mumbai, India, the international pageant was a spectacular celebration of beauty, culture, and talent. Team Guyana was dubbed one of the most prepared and best-represented delegations, with our three queens, Miss India Guyana Rameshwarie Jairam, Teen India Guyana Darshanie Tickapersaud, and Mrs. India Guyana Malini Persaud winning hearts from day one. The media spotlight followed them closely, with Guyana quickly becoming a crowd favourite.

From the breathtaking tours of Mumbai’s landmarks to immersing themselves in India’s rich blend of music, dance, and cuisine, the Guyanese queens carried their homeland’s spirit with grace, charm, and pride.

A front-runner throughout the competition, Malini captivated both judges and audiences with her sophistication, poise, and magnetic stage presence. She delivered a show-stopping talent performance—an electrifying dance choreographed by Mrs. India Guyana 2023 and acclaimed leading dancer Reana Roopnauth and sealed her place in history with a powerful final answer on the importance of preserving culture and prayers as core values to pass on to future generations.

Malini walked away with not one, but two major titles:

Mrs. Congeniality – for her warmth and friendliness

Mrs. India Worldwide 2025 2nd Runner-Up – the historic win for Guyana.

Teen India Guyana 2025 – Darshanie Tickapersaud

Representing the future of Guyana, Darshanie lit up the stage with elegance, energy, and passion. Her dynamic dance performance in the talent round left the audience in awe, earning her recognition as a true crowd favorite. She also proudly claimed the titles of:

Miss India Guyana 2025 – Rameshwarie Jairam

In the Miss category, celebrating its 32nd anniversary this year, Rameshwarie embodied the warmth and hospitality of the Guyanese people. With her confidence, radiant charm, and fierce stage presence, she commanded attention in every round. Her ethnic wear presentation was a highlight of the pageant, showcasing elegance in a stunning traditional Indian ensemble. She also earned the title of:

Guyana’s National Director Recognized

Adding to the country’s triumphs, Guyana’s National Director, Mr. Hashim Alli, was honoured with the Best National Director Award 2025, presented by Mr. Dharmatma Saran, Founder of Miss India Worldwide and IFC. This recognition underscored Guyana’s consistent excellence in preparing delegates and representing the nation’s culture on the global stage.
