Kaieteur News – The Guyana Water Inc. (GWI) has set aside $44,832,260 to rehabilitate the Mackenzie Water Treatment Facility in Linden.
This is according to the latest opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office. There it was revealed that five contractors have applied for the contract.
In addition to that, GWI went out to seek bids for the rehabilitation of the Water Distribution Network and Non-Revenue Water Project (NRW) at Landernsville, Berbice River, Region 10. This project is estimated to cost $20.4 million.
