Kaieteur News – Kayla King has been crowned Miss Cosmo Guyana 2025. King was selected as winner following a night of competition between four delegates held last Friday. She displayed consistency and exceptionalism throughout her Miss Cosmo Guyana journey and on the competition stage.
Alongside her, Miriam Alexander Contestant #2 was dubbed 1st Runner-Up –
Sasha Khellawan, Contestant #4 was given 2nd Runner-Up and the 3rd Runner-Up position went to Contestant #1: Doneeta Ramlakhan.
According to information available on the Miss Cosmo Guyana’s Facebook page each of the young women displayed confidence, grace, and impactful beauty throughout the competition.
King is expected to represent Guyana at the Miss Cosmo International Pageant later this year. This is King’s 2nd crown. She was Miss Guyana Independence 2022, Kayla has since become a recognized face in Guyana’s modeling and pageant circles, earning a Top 5 placement at Miss Guyana Culture Queen 2023.
Her career began with a bold step into the runway world in 2020, proving that passion not convention defines success in the fashion industry. King describes herself as an entrepreneur and co-founder of Bluemoon Management, a creative agency helping emerging talent break into modeling, styling, and media production. Her mission: to build a platform where authenticity and diversity are not just accepted, but celebrated.
Outside of her work and pageantry, Ms King is studying psychology, working toward a future where she can uplift others not just through art, but through mental health advocacy.
She describes herself as resilient, a proud, curvy, Guyanese woman challenging industry standards and redefining beauty on her own terms. Her message: “Your difference is your power. Own it, live it, lead with it.”
