East Bank/West Demerara zone champions in Kares T10 to be crowned today
Today at the Police Sports Club is expected to be a day of big hits from ball one.
Kaieteur Sports – Five teams remain in the East Bank Demerara/West Demerara zone in the third Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast, and one will emerge champion today, Sunday, July 13, and head to the National Stadium, Providence on August 3.
The zone finals are being held at the Police Sports Club, Eve Leary, from 09:30h.
The remaining matches are a quarter-final between Young Steppaz and Trensetters, followed by the first semi-final, Diamond Gunners v The Guard, from 11:00h, and the winner of the quarter-final against Eccles All-Stars at 12:45h.
The final is from 15:30h.
According to the organisers, FL Sport, they will live stream the two semi-finals and final on the tournament’s social media page, One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast.
In addition to joining Montra Jaguars as the first two teams to secure a spot at the National finals, the zone winner will win $300,000 and a specially hand-crafted wooden trophy.
The runners-up will get $100,000.

Following the completion of the East Bank/West Demerara zone, the Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast will move to the Georgetown/East Coast Zone on July 19 and 20, and the Essequibo zone on July 26 and 27.
Admission to all venues is free.
