Kaieteur News – Dem boys seh de government seh AZMO ain’t no threat. Dem seh he ain’t got no party, no base, and no chance. But if he really ain’t a threat, why dem spending US$50,000 a month pun he?
One minute de government hollering ‘sovereignty’ and ‘non-interference’ like is national anthem. Next minute dem paying a foreign lobbying firm fuh write lil tweet. Imagine dat — taxpayers’ money being used fuh script tweet like “AZMO is a Maduro puppet.” And all this while poor people still waiting fuh water pipe and a garbage truck!
Dem boys seh is no longer foreign policy… is foe policy! Instead of representing Guyana to de world, de Ministry of Foreign Affairs now representing Freedom House to Capitol Hill. Is like we exporting our dirty politics along with de rice and gold.
And leh we talk straight — if AZMO is really a joke, like dem seh, why all dis fuss? Why try so hard to tie he to Maduro, Cuba, Russia, and probably next week, North Korea? Is like de government seeing AZMO in dem sleep. De man launch a party with a dove, and de whole Cabinet trembling like leaf in storm. Even de jaugaur gat dem trembling.
Dem boys seh is desperation season. And is just July! Imagine what gon happen by August? Dem gon probably hire one astrologer in New York to say de stars alignin against AZMO presidency. Watch how dey setting de stage — using big words like “national security,” “external threats,” and “democratic values” while dem using taxpayers’ money fuh dirty up a man.
But de people watching. Dey know when yuh spending so much to attack a man, yuh ain’t confident. Yuh scared. Dem boys seh when yuh start to use de people money fuh fight yuh political ghost, is time fuh de people wake up. De government turning diplomacy into warfare. Fuh now, AZMO just walking ’bout with he dove — but dem boys seh de whole government acting like he carrying a nuclear missile.
Talk half. Leff half.
