Kudos to Barbados on establishing diplomatic relations with the State of Palestine
Dear Editor,
The island nation of Barbados certainly knows how to walk the talk when it formally established diplomatic relations with the State of Palestine on Tuesday, June 11 2024 (SN June 13).
This move follows on the heels of its April 19 decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
This is by no means a small decision but one which is decisive and forceful and could be the harbinger for other nations, particularly CARICOM to follow.
Barbados must be congratulated for leading in this manner on the Palestine matter.
