Kaieteur Sports – The newly former Blairmont Hunters United over-40 cricket team will be in action today. They will take on the Jai Hind over-40 cricket team in a feature over-40 cricket match at the Blairmont Community Centre Ground, West Bank Berbice. The game which will be played using coloured clothing will be a 25 overs affair.
The Blairmont team, which is made up of a number of former first division players, will include former Berbice player Devon Clements and features Shabeer Baksh, Jaipaul Herall, Karamdatt Bissondial, Herall Brigelall, Safraz Omar, Tage Singh, Afzal Haroon, Rajbance Hemraj, Christian France, Mahesh Persaud, and O. Persaud.
The Jai Hind Jaguar team is a strong one and includes the likes of former West Indies player Sewnarine Chattergoon former Guyana player Imran Khan and former Berbice all-rounder Anil Beharry and the likes of Kemraj Sumair, Orvin Mangru, Imran Alli, Zamin Zakir, John Percival, Verapen Moonsammy and Mahendra Gurdyal.
