$31M estimated to rehabilitate Diamond Primary School
Kaieteur News – With some $12 billion set aside for the construction, rehabilitation, extension and maintenance of educational facilities across the country, the Ministry of Education is preparing to use part of the proceeds to have the Diamond Primary School rehabilitated.
At the recent opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPATB) office it was revealed that $31,689,350 is estimated to fix up the school.
A total of five contractors have applied for the job.
During the reading of bids too, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security is looking to rehabilitate the Sophia Care Centre, at an estimated cost of $17,712,860.

Supply and Delivery of IT Equipment for Data Centre.
Procurement of Works to Repair the Matron’s Office.
Supply, Installation and Commissioning Two Dryback Firetube Boilers.
Ministry of Human Services and Social Security
Rehabilitation of Sophia Care Centre.
