42 new COVID-19 cases recorded
Kaieteur News – With COVID-19 cases on the rise, the Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported that from some 289 tests conducted, a total of 42 new cases were recorded across the country. The new infections have brought the total number of confirmed cases to 67,699.
The dashboard also shows that three patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 33 persons are in institutional isolation, 824 are in home isolation and four are quarantined institutionally.
To date, a total of 65,583 persons have recovered from the virus.
