Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – Please provide space to allow this apology for the comprehensive misinformation given in my letter published July 15 on the captioned subject.
Unequivocal apologies are due to those incumbents of the following positions in the Ministry of Finance:
Chief Valuation Officer
Deputy Chief Valuation Officer
Assistant Chief Valuation Officer
Valuation Field Officer
Valuation Field Assistant
It is obvious that the Division still exists, although perhaps not in its original construct about which current staff may not have known. So that it would not be totally unreasonable to enquire to what extent the original concept of ‘Valuation’ is being implemented – that is to the benefit of the six municipalities?
Yours truly,
E.B. John
