The finalists for the 2019 Banks Beer 100 Ball Bash were decided last Sunday at Enmore, when Enmore CCCC defeated Strathavon SC by 61 runs and Lusignan SC got the better of Lusignan East by eight wickets in their respective semi-finals. As a result, the final matchup will be a repeat of 2018

between ECCCC and Lusignan SC. In the inaugural competition, Lusignan SC defeated Enmore CCCC but with both teams being unbeaten in this format during 2019, Enmore will no doubt fancy their chances, having defeated a strong Lusignan team in the finals of the 40-Overs format earlier this year.
This competition which is sponsored by the Banks Beer brand is in its second year and commenced in October last amongst 20 teams on the East Coast Demerara.
The final which is set for this Sunday, will be played under floodlights at Enmore following matches between Enmore Masters and Floodlights select team and the third place matchup between Lusignan East and Strathavon SC.
The East Coast cricket Committee 2019 presentation and awards ceremony will also be held before the final game as all matches for the 2019 season will be completed this weekend.
Scores from the semi-finals are as follows: ECCCC 145 for 7 wickets. (Imran Hassan 61, V.Ramlakhan 27 and B.Ramkelawan 23. M. Ronald took 4 wkts for 34 runs). Strathavon SC were then dismissed for 84 in the final over. (Chaitram Balgobin took 2 for 14 and Satash Jainarine 2 for 11).
In the second semi-final, Lusignan East were bowled out for 96 in the final over. (T. Persaud 33 and K. Amsterdam 21. V. Doodnauth, C. Ramraj, V. Ramjeet and R. Williams each took two wickets.) Lusignan SC 98-2. (Robin Williams 64*, V.Ramjeet 25*; A.Sammy took 2 wkts for 14).
ECCCC team: B. Ramkelawan(Capt), Yuvraj Dayal, Satash Jainarine, Amir Khan, Imran Hassan, Ranjeet Hiralall, Rudolph Singh, Vishwanuth Ramlakhan, Chris Surat, Navindra Gobin, Hemraj Garbarran, Chaitram Balgobin and Vivikanand Ishwardin.
Lusignan SC: Shazam Ali- (Capt), Rajpaul Basdeo, Robin Williams, Vishnu Ramjeet, Gavin Boodwah, Kumar Bishundial, Azad Mohamed, Vickram Doodnauth, Chaterpaul Ramraj, Somnauth Bharrat, Steve Ramdas, Jadesh Dowlatram and Deokarran Kumar.
Event schedule: 12:00 Hrs- Enmore Masters vs Floodlights XI; At 2:30 pm – Lusignan East vs Strathavon SC; at 6:00 pm: E/Coast Cricket Committee Presentation/awards ceremony and at 7:00 pm: Enmore CCCC vs Lusignan SC. There will also be Bar-B-Que sale, bar refreshments and off-field entertainment.
