Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) – 13 points – The Sequel drew with Saints Hockey Club (SHC) Savages (11 points) on Saturday last before thrashing SHC Shockwave on Sunday to go top in the Bounty Paper Tower – Quicker Picker Upper – Men’s Outdoor Second Division Hockey League which is being contested at the Saint Stanislaus College (SSC) ground on Carifesta Avenue.
The Sequel beat Shockwave 5-3 in that decisive match on Sunday afternoon with Patrick Edghill scoring four goals, while the league’s top scorer Philip Fernandes (nine goals) netted the fifth.
SHC Savages are second in the Men’s Second Division.

Bingo Spartans midfielder Madison Fernandes is challenged by Her-ricanes defender Gia Fraser.

No games were contested in the Women’s Second Division League last weekend and Saints remain top with a perfect record from their three games played.
Meanwhile, in the Solo Under-20 League; boys’ division: YMCA Old Fort (OF) Ballerz are top with 10 points. However, GCC Pitbulls also have 10 points but Ballerz goal difference (GD) is much superior.
As expected, GCC Bingo Spartans are top in the Solo League Girls’ Division after registering three wins from their three matches played.
Play in the leagues will continue this weekend with six matches each on Saturday and Sunday at the same venue.
