Annandale Secondary, The Business School and Patentia Secondary recorded victories when the Goodwood Racing Service Inter Secondary Schools Super Six round robin Tapeball competition commenced on Saturday last at Durban Park.
Annandale Secondary defeated Patentia Secondary by 47 runs. Batting first, Annandale Secondary scored 116-2, while Patentia Secondary responded with 69-4. The Business School took first strike against LBI and made 126-2, while LBI mustered 71-3 in reply.
In other matches, Patentia Secondary made 74-3, taking first strike, while Queenstown Secondary got to 31-4 in reply. Annandale Secondary drew the bye to the final, while the Business School and Patentia Secondary will clash in the semi final.
In the female segment, Patentia Secondary beat Queenstown Secondary to win the Trophy Stall prize.
The competition will conclude on April 6 and it is being organised by Holy Family Club and Georgetown Tapeball Academy.
