The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, might not be tall, but she certainly stood tall for her country and particularly the Muslim community, following the recent horrific terrorist attacks on two mosques in that country.
She led from the front on how a country can be one, by her many acts of caring, sharing and commiserating with her nation thus unifying a nation and people during this difficult time.
Her swift and decisive actions in reforming and revamping gun laws must be seen as and go down as her shining moment and one of the hallmarks of her tenure.
Now in a further act of unity the Muslim call to prayer was broadcast live on Friday, the one week anniversary of the attacks.
There are many lessons to be garnered from the simple but important acts on how to band together in the face of adversity.
