Mr. Ramesh Sunich, Proprietor of the ‘Trophy Stall’ presented the first place trophy to Mr. Terrence Mitchell, the President of the Upper Demerara Football Association recently as the business house indicated their commitment to being on board as a sponsor of the 6th Edition of the UDFA GT Beer Year End Football Tournament.
The tournament commenced on the 9th of December at the McKenzie Sports Club Ground in Linden and is currently at its final stage will be contested on New Year’s Day at the MSC Ground. Action then starts at 7:30pm with the Third place game between Winners Connection and Botofago for $400,000, while the fourth place walk away with $200,000.
The main event is the final with League champions Eagles FC face off against the league’s runners up Net Rockers for the top prize of 1,200,000. The loser or second place team will receive $600,000.
The UDFA expressed thanks to the Trophy Stall for its support.
