The Trophy Stall Christmas Singles Badminton Tournament 2018 concluded Saturday at the National Gymnasium with several exciting matches.

The tournament started on Friday evening and saw a good showcase of both younger & older players all trying to win with play in the Open, Under-11, 15 & 19 divisions.
At the end of the Finals the Presentation was made to the respective winners and the Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) would like to thank Director of Sports Mr. Christopher Jones for assisting with the presentation, GBA Executive Ms. Ayanna Watson of SOL for presenting gifts to the winners and Banks DIH for the light refreshments provided.
The Champions are: Priyanna Ramdhani & Jonathan Mangra (Open), Akili Haynes & Priyanna Ramdhani (U-19), Matthew Beharry & Lesha Singh (U-15), Leron Ramascindo & Mishka Beharry (U-11).

Under-11 Boys Final:
Leron Ramascindo defeated Aninash Ramnarine: 22-20, 20-22, 21-5
Under-11 Girls Final:
Mishka Beharry defeated Gianna Ramnarine: 21-9, 21-8
Under-15 Boys Final:
Matthew Beharry defeated Vikash Mootoo: 21-14, 21-19
Under-15 Girls Final:
Lesha Singh defeated Elesa Sangster: 21-14, 21-13
Under-19 Boys Singles Final:
Akili Haynes defeated Tyrese Jeffrey: 21-19, 21-18
Under-19 Girls Singles Final:
Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Ashley Escarraga: 21-6, 21-4
Open Men Singles Final:
Jonathan Mangra defeated Aninash Odit: 21-8, 21-14

Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Pricilla Moore: 21-8, 21-8
Open Men Singles Consolation Final:
Easa Sanichara defeated Hemraj Beharry: 30-28, 21-15

Under-19 Boys Singles Semi-Finals:

Third Place went to Hemraj Beharry who defeated Matthew Beharry: 21-14, 21-13

Ashley Escarraga defeated Stephine Sajar: 21-18, 21-19
Third Place Girls Under-19 went to Stephine Sajar who defeated Jayde DaSilva: 21-15, 17-21, 20-22
Third Place Men went to Akili Haynes who defeated Darrell Carpenay: 22-20, 16-21, 16-21
Third Place Ladies went to Christina Kumar who defeated Ayanna Watson:21-16, 16-21, 15-21
