Dear Editor,
I would like to request the assistance of your newspaper to bring attention to the state of the trenches in the village of Prospect, EBD, as well as the bridge of access to the Covent Garden Nursery school. To the best of my knowledge the trenches have not been cleaned in many months and the
grasses and vegetation in the trenches have reached an alarming density and height. In the pictures attached, all the large expanse of greenery are in fact trenches. This is especially troubling as it leads to flooding and the spreading of diseases through mosquitoes utilizing the stagnant water as their breeding grounds. The other issue of concern is the access bridge to the Covent Garden Nursery school. The approach to the bridge and the descent from the bridge is quite a muddy mess in the event of rainfall as well as the approach to the Nursery school itself. The bridge has widely spaced boards with holes that are not at all safe for daily traversing of little feet. The trench the bridge crosses is also filled with bushes. The relevant NDC has been repeatedly contacted but to no avail. School will be back in session soon. It is my hope that by bringing to light this issue in your newspapers some action will be taken. Thank you very much in anticipation of your cooperation. NB: the pictures will be sent in several emails as it’s too much for on
