Trinidad and Tobago are set to have the largest travelling contingent to the Guyana hosted Caribbean Schoolboys and Junior boxing tournament that will punch of at the National Gymnasium from August 17th to 19th.
The twin island republic will have a contingent of 12 boxers and six officials. Those six fighters will be accompanied by four parents. Four of those boxers are females, who are under training by former leading Pro boxer Ria Ramnarine. This is according to information relayed from President of the T&T Boxing board, Cecil Forde to head of the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA); Steve Ninvalle.
Jamaica, St. Lucia and Cayman Islands are among the countries who have confirmed their participation to go along with T&T and hosts Guyana.
Currently, Antigua, Barbados, US Virgin Islands, Bahamas and Suriname are still to confirm their participation.
