When big man play young dem does punish

People don’t like get old. Since dem reach a certain age if dem is a woman dem does start subtract. Dem boys ain’t sure who more vain because both man and woman does try to hide dem age. When dem hair start fuh get gray, dem does hustle to hide de gray. De men get a break because dem can now shave dem head suh both young men and de old ones shine dem head suh people can’t know what is de case.
Burnham was a man who mek some big tun back man feel dem young. He had a youth forum and he put a big tun back man as de chairman. Things meet de stage wheh people start fuh beg time to stop. That is how dem come up wid de saying, life begins at 40.
But de thing wha sad about de whole affair is dem big man who believe this nonsense about life begins at 40. All of a sudden, dem big man deh troubling dem li’l gyal. Is like if dem believe that dem is li’l boys again. And since dem believe suh de judges in de court does put dem up like when people put mangoes and pears to ripe.
Of course, dem got de set who does behave like dem children. Dem boys see big women dressing up like dem daughter and going to de same party. Dem got another set who does go to Karaoke and sing like young people song. But as dem boys seh, all good things must come to an end.
Dem boys hear bout de couple who behave just like when dem was young. Is fuh hear de grandmother explain how she husband dead. She was 95 and de man was 98. She granddaughter hear she grandfather dead from a heart attack.
De gyal go straight to she grandparent’s house to comfort de grandmother. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, “He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning.”
De granddaughter open she eye big in shock. People so old don’t do dem things, at least that was what she believe. De granny tell de gyal that a longtime ago, dem wuk out a nice pace. She said that dem decide that everything gun happen pun a Sunday morning when the church bells would start to ring.
“ It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous.” It was Ding—dong!! Ding…dong…!!
De old lady stop to wipe she eye. “He woulda be alive today if that ice cream truck didn’t pass wid de bell ringing ding-ding-ding-.”
