GCF President contribute towards Grant-Staurt’s UCI C1 Para-Cycling quest

President of the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) Horace Burrowes has made a financial contribution towards Walter Grant-Stuart’s participation at the UCI C1 Para-Cycling Event set to take place between April 28th – 29th at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Montreal, Canada.

on Saturday at the National Park.

Grant-Stuart, a member of the Continental Cycle Club, has continued to prepare ahead of his international debut and is expected to be in pristine shape for this event which will see him contesting the Time Trials and Road Race. He has reported that he has already been granted a Canadian Visa and is currently in the process of checking in with other sponsors who would have committed towards offsetting his expenses.
Ansa McAl through their ICool range of products has already committed to assisting Grant-Stuart who has expressed gratitude to Burrowes for his contribution. He has also indicated that he is focused on doing Guyana and himself proud.
The GCF has already committed to outfitting Grant-Stuart with the appropriate Guyana branded uniform for his races. This would be the first time that Guyana would be represented at this competition.
