Brickdam Secondary recorded a last ball victory over Debutant Jos-El Educational Institute when the Forbes Burnham Foundation National Sports Commission Al Sport and Tour Promotion Secondary Schools windball tournament continued recently at the National Gymnasium.
Joss-El after been invited to take first strike made 75-2 in fiver overs with Danzel Forde scoring 55.
In reply, Brickdam needed four runs from 12 balls but lost three wickets in the 4th over to the bowling of Joel Gilkes who finished with 3-21. In the final over bowled by Josse Small and with four still needed they won the game off the last ball with a boundary as they finished on 76 -4; Kareem Whitney made 40.
Saint Barnabus School batted first and made 74-5; Andrew Stewart, Grant Robinson and Rudolph Robinson scored 14 apiece. Seon Smith took 3 -20.
Sophia Special School responded with 78 with out loss in 3.2 overs; Omar Vaughn struck 73 (10x6s).
Debutant Mercy Wings Vocational Centre managed 93-3. Amari Kendall made 40 and Deneilson Sealey 22. Saint John’s College replied with 96-2; Yohance Angoy struck 52 and Gustavus Huston 24. D. Sealey had 2-4.
Queenstown Secondary batted first and made 53-3; Johnathan Bacchus got 15. East Ruimveldt Secondary responded with 55 without loss; Jofet George slammed 32 and Antwonie Allen 21.
The Bishop’s High School after been invited to bat made 130-2; Koulasir Sudama slammed 71 (9x6s), while Srininas Chatram and Aryan Persaud made 22 each. Valimiki Vidyalaya High School replied with 93-4; Rahul Singh made 45 and Dinanath Roopnarine 17. K. Sudama came back with the ball to capture 2-12.
Saint Winfried Secondary took first strike and made 65-2; Joshua Thompson got 42. Tucville Secondary responded with 70-2; Dwayne Jones made 39 and Leon Chenesy 16. Hemwant Sookram took 2 -29.
