Everest Masters overcome Bacchus XI
Everest Masters defeated Imam Bacchus XI in a 25-over contest played recently at Imam Bacchus ground, Affiance. Batting first, Imam Bacchus XI managed 124-7 with Fazir Khan scoring 33, Roy Gonsalves 23, Laxmikant Narine 16 and Beesham Seepersaud 10. Rakesh Gangaram snared 3-33; Rajesh Singh had 2-15, while there was a wicket each for Saheed Mohamed and Ronald Jaisingh.
Everest Masters responded with 126-3 in 20.1 overs. Hemraj Garbarran struck 46 while Ramesh Narine made 26 not out, Saheed Mohamed 22 not out and Sahadeo Hardaiow 16. Seepersaud, Narine and Khan picked up a wicket each.
A return fixture is billed for Easter Weekend.
