Dear Editor,
I and only I will decide when to bring closure to my conversation with this propagandist called Tacuma Ogunseye. I will never give these kind of people the power to determine my right to expose the abuses against the poor and the working class. What he failed to recognize is I withstood Kwame Mckoy who was 10 times smarter than him at propaganda, so why does he think his baseless comments will cause me to cower?
Let me explain to the Guyanese people my role; it is simple – oppose, expose and highlight acts of oppression against the poor and the working class irrespective if the PNC or PPP rules Guyana. When that Durban Park fraud was committed on the nation, where was the voice of Tacuma Ogunseye?
For me all that matters is the views of the masses and I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt I will be accepted in any community of Guyana for my principled stance on the issues irrespective of who is in power. Tacuma cannot say the same for himself because he is nothing but a bigoted mind who cannot contribute to a Guyana of ethnic reconciliation. He thinks, dreams and lives ethnic politics every moment of his life and is not interested in the civil rights of the poor and the working class. A word of caution to this propagandist; if he cannot debate issues and raise his game intellectually, then get out of the public kitchen. Simple!
As I conclude my conversation with Tacuma I want to reflect on the genesis of the debate. I started by exposing this draconian 2017 Budget that did very little for the poor and the working class. Even today I am reading of the drastic increases in the charges on the owners of animal driven carts but Tacuma is cool with that because he is a classic hypocrite. He is cool with pressuring the poor to pay him his G$8 million a year salary. Eusi Kwayana will never do that to the poor cart vendor
I am shocked at the quality of due diligence the Granger administration used as it selected its officials. How can they let someone who made deals with the PPP into such a sensitive role? Do we now understand why the PPP are always 10 steps ahead of the SARU outfit when it comes to the asset recovery process? This government must be warned, Tacuma’s politics is old. Tacuma Ogunseye is an embarrassment to the Granger administration and the earlier they recognize what an outdated person he is, the better for them.
