Regal Sports will be hosting its inaugural T20 softball tournament starting in September in Georgetown. The tournament will be played on a round robin basis in the open and over-45 categories with no entrance fee required.
Teams are asked to submit a list of not more than 15 members, while players participating in the over-45 division must be born before 1972 to be eligible, and only the first eight teams that are registered in this category will be accepted.
The winning teams in both categories will take home a trophy and $100,000 and the runner up a trophy and $25,000 while the man-of-the-match in the finals will receive a trophy. Teams will be required to pay the umpire fees and provide their balls (white big ball).
